GREAK HIKES - OREGON

Be sure to send us a quick message if you are in or near Ashland or Medford, Oregon. We will be hosting a few morning hikes in Ashland/Medford, Oregon! PM us for details because the hikes will be weather dependent.

Grizzly Peak - Moderate and we’re learning that it looks like there may be sinkholes! So, we will see what is in front of us when we get there. This is a harder terrain but has exquisite views of the entire valley. This is a 6-mile hike.

Hobart Bluff - Easy and picturesque, it is only a 3-mile round-trip and it has a lot of gentle rolling hills and meadows. Parts of it can be fairly strenuous, but manageable.

Lower Table Rock – Easy, this is really a meadow tour. It is a flat plateau that has a very diverse ecosystem.

If you are packing for any of these trips, we do recommend 2 L of water per person, windbreaker, fleece, sunscreen, sunglasses, sun hat, energy snacks and a loaded day pack. When hiking we don't ever encourage a huge heavy meal because it will really bog you down. Energy snacks are really the best fuel on all these hikes!

We will be hiking in the Great Redwood Forest!

California - our team will be there between September 10 and 20. The exact date will be based on our weather and travel capacity! PM us and we will get you our daily schedule.

There are a lot of park closures right now on Nickle Creek, Damnation Creek Trail, and Holter Ridge, so we will know more about where we're eligible to hike on that day. This one is more of an impromptu add-on in our tour!

This hike is best if you have some boots, as sometimes it is quite wet and slippery. Weather conditions will often be in a mid-temperature but it can get very chilly. We will be staying with hikes that are under 6 miles and can be at a pace that you can enjoy meeting new people. Also, we have been told that digital maps don't work here!
